Adoption. stages of registration
Few important steps that you need to do before you adopt a child.
Parents wishing to adopt a child, file a written application to the Service for children in the community.
The application must include the following documents:
- copy of passport;
- earnings statement for the last six months or a copy of the income tax return for the previous calendar year, certified prescribed manner;
- copy of marriage certificate, if the applicants are married;
- opinion on the health of each applicant;
- notarized written consent to the adoption of the other spouse (if the adoption of a child by a spouse) if otherwise provided by law;
- information about the presence or absence of criminal record issued by police at the residence of each applicant;
- copy of the document certifying the ownership or use of the dwelling.
After applying candidate within ten working days of the employee services for children:

- certificate of attendance of the child parents (with adoption under Part 2 of Art. 219 Family Code of Ukraine );
- opinion on the health of the child;
- act of getting candidates for adoption of a child.
Adoption is a court decision.
received a copy of the judgment (10 days from the date of the decision), adoptive parent must personally pick up your child from school or family, in which he brought up, in the presence of Juvenile Services upon presentation of a copy of the judgment adoption.
The organs of civil registration acquired a certificate of adoption and a new birth certificate shall be entered a record of the child's passport.
